Job Summary:

  • As a member of this team, you will contribute in supporting project team on the subcontracts, procurement, management, and closeout of a variety of contract documents.

      Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Subcontracts planning and procedures
  • Subcontracts drafting
  • Leading subcontracts tender process, evaluation, clarification and final subcontract negotiations and award
  •  Post subcontracts management ensuring adherence to subcontract T&Cs, weekly and monthly progress and contractual meetings
  • Claim avoidance by proactive involvement of project controls and highlighting subcontractor failings
  • Ensure and monitor compliance with company Asset Management Procedures
  • Track and record company assets including materials / fixed assets etc.
  • Manage the Procurement process and associated software application as per company IMS procurement standards and procedures.
  • Maintain the agreed methodology for the monitoring of these systems and procedures.
  • Manage vendors, third party suppliers and service providers.
  • Manage relationship and execution activities for subcontractor including quality issues, scheduling of production, raw material planning and execution issues.
  • Perform strategic sourcing and supplier management for DOD subcontracts and services through negotiations and contract and spend management techniques.
  • Author and develop RFP documents for subcontract activities.
  • Ensure compliance with RFP requirements while adhering to company policy and establish practices to mitigate risks accordingly.
  • Manage the Procurement process and associated software application as per company IMS procurement standards and procedures.
  • Monitor internal and external stakeholder satisfaction with regard to the services provided by the procurement and Sub-Contracts function.
  • Identify areas of improvement, risks, etc and recommend actions to be taken – drive the implementation of these improvements;
