A new role for Michael Deighton

Please join us in saying a huge congratulations to Michael Deighton, who has moved into the new role of Global Project Delivery Director. He will soon be relocating to the UAE with his family to lead the development and implementation of the TMM Value Delivery Model. He will work hand in hand with the Operations Directors and respective Operations Teams to ensure the ‘best in class’ approach, consistency of execution and highest level of performance in all of our TMM contracts. This includes providing operational oversight, development and implementation of our digital tools and systems and technical and operational standards to really set ourselves apart as a high performing TMM organisation.

Michael told us “I’m really looking forward to taking on this new challenge but, more importantly, to work more closely with the fantastic, high performing, teams we have across the Kentech TMM family. The culture and teamwork that comes through from these teams is truly inspiring. The next chapter for our TMM operations is really exciting and something I can’t wait to be a part of. My wife, Jen and children, Issy and Guy, are also looking forward to a return to the Middle East, something they remind me of almost daily.”

On Tuesday 9th February 2021, we announced an agreement to acquire the oil & gas business of SNC-Lavalin’s Resources Division.

This business includes people and assets brought together through their acquisition of the Kentz and other energy services businesses. This transaction marks an exciting, ground-breaking development for Kentech to reinforce our position as a leading integrated energy services provider and introduces us to the renewable / clean power marketplace. We now move forward together with a global network of more than 10,000 professionals united by a commitment of common values and strong partnerships with clients from across the world.

By investing now, we are strategically positioning the company to take advantage of the next cycle of growth.

Our complementary businesses will join forces, creating a stronger offering across the full asset life cycle – from consulting to design and build, commissioning and start-up, through to maintenance, modification and turnaround, as well as decommissioning services.
