#K² accelerates us to becoming a high performing workplace and #WeAreFamily spreads the message of connectedness to ensure our people go home safe to their families. We know that a connected and high performing workplace is one where our people can bring their whole self to work every day, in a way that they are not judged and feel included. At the centre of this is wellbeing; both physical and emotional. This is why we’re building our Mental Health First Aider network across the Kentech world.
As we build this network, our people are supported by Mental Health First Aiders; teammates who are equipped with the skills to identify and assist them when they are developing a mental health challenge or experiencing a mental health crisis.
All of our Mental Health First Aiders are Mental Health First Aid International (MHFA) accredited and are trained to develop the skills and confidence to have supportive conversations with their colleagues and help guide them to professional help if needed.
Launched in 2000, Mental Health First Aid programs in the workplace have been shown to increase knowledge, confidence and helping behaviours, and reduce stigma around Mental Health and we’re proud to be building this for our people in Kentech.
